Lagos is a lovely historic town in the Western Algarve, It retains a lot of its old charm and the council have been very sympathetic in renovating the streets,most of thes are now pedestrian only.There are many cafes and restaurants lining squares and streets,the scooters we rent out make all these easily accessible without having to park cars or long walks.The Avenida just on the edge of the old town stretches from the new cosmopolitan marina all way down to the old slave market,passing the old city walls [a must see at night] onto the Fort. The prom on the waters edge makes for a lovely place to take in ocean air and watch boats and the world go by.You can easily access some lovely beaches at this side of the street.
